Camp Director Jedd Zaring

Coach Zaring has coached in the college, high school and club ranks for almost 25 years and is the Head Boy's Coach at Jefferson Forest High School in Forest, Virginia.  Having just completed his 19th year at the helm, his teams have compiled a record of 312-49-14. He has guided JF to 19 consecutive Seminole District titles and Regional appearances, winning the Region III Championship in 2011, 2009 and 2006.  His Cavaliers have 12 VHSL State Tournament appearances,  including 6 Final Fours.  His 2011 team won the VHSL AA State Championship, finishing the season with a perfect 24-0-0 record and being named by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America as the #1 high school team in the nation in their final 2011 NSCAA Top Twenty Spring poll.  Zaring has been a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America since 1987 and holds the NSCAA Advanced National and National Diplomas.  He was the Head Men's Coach at Southern Virginia University in 2010 and Head Women's Coach at Sweet Briar College from 1989 to 1992. He was in management with the Major Indoor Soccer League's Pittsburgh Spirit ('78-79, 79-80) and Denver Avalanche ('80-'81) and played at the University of Pittsburgh from 1975-79.  He graduated from Wilson High School in Reading, PA.

Academy Staff

The single most important factor for player success is the quality of the instructors. Over the past decade, our Sweet Briar staff has been comprised of highly regarded professional, collegiate, club, and high school coaches and players.  We pride ourselves in staffing our Academy with a diverse group of top-quality teachers of males and females and feel confident that will match our staff against any of the higher-priced camps on the east coast.
